†If you are upgrading your natural gas furnace, you must complete at least 2 additional upgrades (a total of 3 upgrades) to qualify for the Home Efficiency Rebate. The participant form signed in the home during the pre-assessment will outline the eligible incentive available to the homeowner. If you intend to start renovations, demolition of your home or install retrofit measures, please ensure that you have your initial home energy assessment completed. An energy assessment cannot be performed on a home during renovations or demolition or after new equipment has already been installed. *If your primary heating system breaks down between Oct. 15, 2019 and Mar. 31, 2020, you may immediately replace your heating system before completing an initial energy assessment if (a) you take a picture of the old heating system that clearly shows the venting, (b) you contact a Registered Energy Advisor within 5 days of the heating system replacement, and (c) the pre-assessment occurs within 30 days of heating system replacement. A second eligible upgrade must be completed to participate in the program. Please contact a Registered Energy Advisor to confirm eligibility. Fuel switching from any other fuel to natural gas is not permitted. To achieve the base target for air sealing, the homeowner must consult with their Registered Energy Advisor. To understand more about your base target and the incentive you could receive, please review your Energy Efficiency Evaluation report provided to you after completion of your initial home energy assessment. Only one enrollment for incentive per household is permitted. Subject to change or cancellation without notice at any time. Enbridge Gas makes no representation, warranty or guarantee regarding the projected savings of any efficiency measures or performance of installed equipment. Upon receiving your final home energy assessment information from your Service Organization, Enbridge Gas will facilitate payment within 6-12 weeks. As a reminder, it can take up to 40 days after your final home energy assessment for Enbridge Gas to receive your application from the Service Organization. Maximum of 120 days between the first and second assessment allowed. If there are circumstances that don’t allow you to complete your first and second assessment within 120 days, your advisor can request an extension which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Incentives are available on first come, first served basis. Incentive payment is subject to availability of funds. Enbridge Gas reserves the right to revise without advance notice including incentive amounts and eligibility.
